Then, I was asked if I wanted to try out an at home teeth whitening system. I couldn't say no! The only thing I was concerned about was I did not want my teeth becoming sensitive after.
Basically the whitening gel is in that silver tube. You have to make sure your teeth are pretty dry in order for the gel to stick and work better, so I took a towel to mine. The little blue brush made it easy to get the gel in smaller spaces like the little spaces between teeth! Then in went the mouth guard and the light. The light is real light so my lips held it in place, but I would have the light in for about 20mins (to be honest I caught up on my YouTube Watch Later playlist so the time went by fast). The light helps to kick start the whitening process, and speed it along.
After 20mins you are done with the light and you can keep in the guard with the gel for an additional 1 hour if you want /have the time to!
I did not do this every day. Just because life got in the way and I was afraid of it causing sensitivity! But, when I did the system I did not experience any sensitivity.
Did I see results?
I did!! The top picture is before and the bottom is after! As you can see my teeth are whiter and it even helped that little spot on my front tooth that I've had since my braces!
