LUSH Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask!

Happy weekend everyone!

I've been mentioning how my face is having a bit of a temper tantrum lately, so I've been doing a lot of maintenance to get it back to normal. Usually my skin is very calm [besides it being red and itchy, that's my skin on a good day!], I would get a hormonal pimple once every month, which I can live with! But, being on a medication that has hormones in it for my thyroid, it's making my skin confused, and angry!

Before I continue on a tangent about how I am frustrated with my skin, I will continue with this post! [If you want me to do an update on my skin care routine, leave me a comment! It has changed a bit since my video!]

If you have ever been to a LUSH, you have most likely seen the fresh face masks in their fresh bar! I recently took home a lovely mask called Catastrophe Cosmetic! [my face is a catastrophe -_-]

So, before I applied the mask, I washed my face with my daily cleanser, it doesn't matter what brand or anything, [but if you were wondering I use a L'Oreal cleanser]. Then I use a toner, and then the mask!

Here is the toner I use. It is also from LUSH! It is the Tea Tree Water, which has grapefruit, tea tree water, and lots of other great stuff to control excess oils, and very antibacterial! [a pimple basically is bacteria under the skin...so it makes sense!]

So, I spray the toner on my freshly washed and dried face, then I take a cotton ball [or pad], and I wipe the toner off. It's going to get the remaining cleanser that might've hid from the water, when I rinsed off my face, and it also gets all of the bacteria out of my pored that might've been stuck in there. You would be surprised what you find on that piece of cotton! I was going to include the picture of my cotton, but I thought that might be too gross...

Then comes the mask! All of the face masks [except for 1, which is the mask of magnimity] needs to me kept refrigerated! They are that fresh! They are good for 3 weeks if you keep them in the fridge!

This mask is packed with antioxidant blueberries, soothing calamine, and almond oil!

I decided to be brave/a tad silly, and include a picture of me with the face mask! You can see the pieces of blueberries in it, and it is a lovely shade of blueish gray!

With all of the face masks, you leave them on for about 10 minutes, and they will start to firm up.

After the time is up, and you feel like the mask did it's job, rinse it off with warm water.

After I rinsed it off, I did apply a little bit of moisturizer, because my face is a mess without some moisture!

The mask is very detoxifying, and my skin I think had a lot of toxins, because after doing this mask once, my face has calmed down quite a bit, but still isn't where it has been for the past 22 years of my life!

P.S; sorry for the awkward hairstyle in the picture! and leave a comment what heritage background you think I am, I've been getting very interesting ones in person lately!
